• Supervise and mentor a team of Direct Support Professionals, providing guidance and support in their daily responsibilities.
• Develop and implement training programs for DSPs to enhance skills and knowledge in supporting individuals.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with families, healthcare providers, and other professionals to create and maintain individualized support plans (ISP).
• Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided by DSPs, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
• Conduct regular team meetings to discuss individuals’ progress, share best practices, and foster a positive work environment.
• Assist in the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of new DSP staff.
• Participate in the assessment and development of individuals’ needs and goals.
• High school diploma or equivalent; a two year degree in social services, health care, or a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience working as a Direct Support Professional or in a similar role, with supervisory experience highly desirable.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and support a team.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Knowledge of disability services, health and wellness management, and individualized support planning.
• Ability to work alone and collaborate with families, individuals, and community resources.
• Valid driver’s license and the ability to safely operate a passenger vehicle.

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in health or social services preferred.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.

Most of the workday will be spent standing or walking, with approximately 75-90 percent of the time indoors and 10-25 percent outdoors.
